How are the test results classified?
The test results are classified as follows based on the reaction of the electronic equipment to electrostatic discharge:
Normal operation within the specification range: The electronic equipment continues to operate normally even when electrostatic discharge occurs.
Temporary degradation with self-recovery possible: Functions or performance temporarily degrade but recover automatically without user intervention.
Temporary degradation requiring operator intervention: Functions or performance temporarily degrade and require system restart or operator intervention.
Non-recoverable degradation: Non-recoverable degradation or loss of function occurs due to damage to machinery or software, or due to data loss.
